The 2005 reunion in Kingwood, West Virginia. This is where it all started. Our parents hometown. This years reunion was organized by Dad. He booked a room at the Preston County Inn for all to use. We didn't attend this year, but wish we would have. Nothin' like buckwheat cakes and whole hog sauage!! Yum
The 2009 reunion in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Williamsburg, Virginia was simply awesome. Pittsburgh is a great town, and it seems like we saw all of it. The Salernos joined in for the Pittsburgh leg. In Williamsburgh, we stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge thanks to my buddy Tom for hooking us up. Awesome hotel and just a great reunion!!
Amelia Island Florida was the perfect location for rest and relaxation!! Two pools, antique hunting, great food, high tea, golf, historic forts and beach! We even squeezed in an excursion to St Augustine, our nations oldest city. We were all together for this years reunion and we tested our strength as a family!!
Pigeon Forge Tennessee in the great smokie mountains was the perfect backdrop to our 2012 Family Reunion.Who can forget "the Lumberjack" show, day trips to the great smokie mountains, Gatlinburg and Cherokee. Christmas in August was hilarious!! Our theme this year was "hippie chicks" and "kool cats".....we rolled down the hill in a ZORB and landed at the Mellow Mushroom
Two awesome days in beautiful Jensen Beach Florida, at the newly renovated, Courtyard by Marriott Hutchinson Island!! Sun, sand, shells and food..glorious food like Jan's Place, Conchy Joe's and Dolphin Bar!! We then head just slightly South to the amazing Harbor Beach Marriott Resort and Spa. Beach watersports and an on property award winning spa to pamper the GSK ladies. We took a day trip to the everglades, local shopping and an old fashioned ice cream shop named Jaxons. And who could forget "Big City Tavern" with the amazing meatballs and muddled mint mojitos. Congrats to Jessica for winning the talet show with the "cup song"
